Saying goodbye to 2015
What an amazing year 2015 has been. Reflecting over this past 12 months and knowing that a tremendous amount of growth has occurred. In 2015 I attended my first photography convention, won the 2104 Army Digital photography contest in the Army life category, won 3 awards with WPPI, had two of my photos entered into the General Loan collection with PPA, took a breastfeeding photo that created a global conversation, joined the Beauty and Life Mommy Magazine Bump Society and was published both Nationally and Internationally. I shot 130 newborn sessions and countless child and family sessions and even squeezed in a wedding or two. There were military homecoming events captured and of course all of the fun we caught at Freedom Crossing.
Looking forward to 2016 brings so much excitement and hopes for things yet to come. You should see a relationship with the La Leche League International to bring more awareness to breastfeeding. I am also hoping to work more closely with our Wounded Warriors and our military. Newborns will also continue and competitions will be even more intense. My intern, Kim, is coming on part time to learn and help shoot with me, so look for more information on her as we enter the new year. Big and wonderful things are to come and like always none of this could happen without my fans and clients. You guys rock. Happy New Year everyone, enjoy this little video of all of the newborns from this year.
