Born and raised in Maryland with my grandparents, I quickly found out how important family memories can be. I joined the US Air Force 2 weeks after high school and I’ve been either serving in uniform or supporting my active duty soldier ever since ’97. That’s a long time to be in our military community and I support it with every ounce of my being. Memories are held near and dear in this community and I found that I had a passion to help capture every special moment so that those memories could be shared with others. I love to grow in my knowledge and compete with my imagery as well as occasionally having an image published. My greatest accomplishment to date would be the creation of the military breastfeeding portrait and I’m always interested in the next new project that comes my way, especially if it supports those in uniform. When I’m not “working” I love to garden, raise my little farm or spend time with my dogs. I LOVE to travel, and speaking & teaching other photographers has helped me travel to all types of different locations. I have so many goals, most of them photography related, or simple goals like becoming a grandmother to cuddle new ones of my own. In the meantime, I’ll just continue to enjoy the baby cuddles I get in the studio!
