Being in the Army you always know that you will get the call from your hubby saying “he came down on orders” and after 6 years here at Fort Bliss I received that call this week. And I also received news that we are leaving within months. We will be relocating to the Fort Stewart, GA area. I will not be taking on clients after October 10th of this year. We will be leaving very shortly after. I am working on a way to document my upcoming move. Moving a family and a home is a task all by itself, but to move that along with a full time photography business well.. that’s going to be nothing short of a miracle. I have known this time was approaching, 6 years at any duty station is a very long time, and I’ve planned a few things ahead of time. I could never even dream of moving without a software like 17hats to keep my schedule organized. Thank God for current technology right?
I will have more details coming soon about how to follow along with me as I embark on this journey. Not only will I have a studio space close to Richmond Hills, Georgia (servicing both Fort Stewart and Savannah, GA and surrounding areas) I am also working to open a small studio space in the Maryland/DC area with a dedicated focus on military families, and working to expand The Military Photographer, a project I have been working on for years. So stay tuned as this could be something that teaches you from the many obstacles and trials I am sure will happen. Maybe even throw some encouragement my way as this will be the biggest move of my life to date.
Thank you to everyone that supported me here at Fort Bliss, and for those in Georgia, I can’t wait to meet you and work with you!!
