Frequently asked questions.

Do you have a studio space?

Yes. I will be sharing my studio with my amazing friend Gray Armstrong. You will find our partnership to be the most unforgettable and professional experience there is. The studio is comfortable and fits our needs perfectly!

Can you provide props and outfits?

I have an extensive collection of props, newborn outfits, headbands, and bonnets. If there is a custom prop or outfit you would like to discuss for your session, I recommend at least 8 weeks in advance for my vendors to have your item ready for your session.

What is included in the basic portrait session fees?

Every session has a sitting fee or a session fee. This fee includes the time and use of all of my studio props, setups, and time to create the art you desire from your time with me. It also includes professional editing as well as an online proofing gallery that can be shared with friends and family. Any prints, products, albums, and/or digital images can be purchased at a later date through my studio.

What is the turnaround for images to be ready for proofing?

Most portrait sessions have a 3 to 4-week turnaround. I do offer a 72-hour rush turnaround for a small fee. As a photographer that has been in the business for many years, I understand that I do not have the quickest turnaround time and Iā€™m ok with that and this is why. I do not and will not rush through editing. These images are precious and deserve all of the time and small detailed attention that I can give to them. I edit all of my portraits myself and do not outsource to an editing service. I also run and manage a small homestead and have an Active Duty Army spouse and children that require my attention throughout the day. Understand that although your images might take a few weeks to be ready for you to proof, all of my best efforts go into making them the most special that I can make them for you and that they will be worth the wait!

How long do sessions typically last?

Full newborn sessions typically last around 2.5 to 3 hours depending our your little one and how they handle their time with me. A mini newborn portrait session only lasts an hour.

What if I need to cancel?

Studio policy is that all deposits and session fees are non-refundable unless a military PCS with orders causes a cancellation. If you need to reschedule your session for any reason I am willing to work with you to make that happen, based on both of our schedules.
